Oregon Lyme Disease Network is working on a "Tick Sweep" in the state of Oregon for to identify areas where ticks carry Lyme disease, Ehrlichosis, Babesia and other tick borne infections.

Labs which will accept ticks from private parties for study are IgeneX labs (this will open a new browser and take you to their website, to return here just close the IgeneX site)

OLDN's  independent study will test ticks from locations where people believe they have been bitten and infected with lyme disease first.

We will then reach out to areas of suspicion (ie: high deer or elk populations, dense wooded areas)

This study will commence May 2004 and has no future end date.

If you have been bit by a tick, or have become ill with flu like symptoms, or display a rash of any kind, within two weeks of camping in Oregon please click here to contact the Oregon Lyme Disease Network  and we will document your area and test ticks in the area for Borrelia infections, and other co-infections ticks may carry.

Oregon Lyme Disease Network is contracting with two registered and certified labs known for specific testing of Lyme Disease in ticks and humans.

Donations for this tick sweep can be made by using the make donation button
